Jacque | January 4, 2010

Miss Esther is hosting the challenge from January 1 to January 7.  You don’t have to do The Challenge on those exact dates, but around that time. You can read more about the Challenge at Feelin’ Feminine and link your blog up with others participating in the challenge at Miss Esther’s post at Unknown Artist.

Growing in Grace Magazine August 2008

Jacque | August 1, 2008

Sorry none of the article links work. Our articles are no longer on GGM. You will find our articles on our personal blogs and at Training Daughters, Teaching Wives.

As it happens each month since February first, our hard work on Growing in Grace Magazine has paid off. I am so thrilled to work with such [...]

Super Spiritual Sunday Links

Jacque | July 13, 2008

I really like this meme, because I have actually been finding some good links since I joined StumbleUpon. Another thing that I have found helpful is the last post link on the bottom of WP comments. That is how I found Miss Marian’s post : Accountability; Or: Is Anybody Out There? Miss Marian is what [...]

Summertime: Modesty and Swimsuits

Jacque | May 31, 2008

So, it is summertime. What can Christians do about swimsuits?

*This post originally contained The Letter From A Christian Guy About Modesty. I posted the Letter separately, because it may not be appropriate for all eyes, ears or hearts. Guarding our children’s thought lives is important to me, so I wanted to make it one step [...]

Forced Dating?

Jacque | May 15, 2008

Allowing your daughter to go to the Junior Prom just hit a new level. What if you don’t want your daughter to have a date for prom? Should the principal be able to mandate that your child go to prom with a date?
Apparently, a Staten Island principal thinks she has the right to do just [...]

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22

Jacque Mrs. Jacque Dixon and her husband, Matt are busy preparing and training their nine children up in YHVH's narrow way. We are currently living and home schooling in Costa Rica, sharing our love of Torah online. Walking Therein is where Jacque writes encouraging articles of faith, home schooling and the daily adventures of the Dixon family, with a mix of news and reviews also thrown in from time to time. You will find our online ministry sites and personal blogs at Dixon Family Ministries: DixonHomestead.com
