Home Remedies
My GOOT page has been so sought-out on the internet, I wanted to go a bit into more detail and give a few more homeopathic recipes we use here on one page.
This is a directory. These are linked to a specific page or post about the link. Most of them are here at Walking Therein, but a few of them are from friends, and on their blogs. May the LORD heal you, your family, your children, and give you peace as you are overcoming whatever ailment you have.

My Immune Boost Recipe
by Cathy Nagle: “This is a modified recipe that I have had in my pantry for quite a few years now. It is a very strong drink, similar to a hot tea and the cayenne pepper adds quite a bite, but several days of sipping on this will kick start your immune system and you’ll be feeling better before you know it!”
OTC Drug Warnings
There are concerns about the Phenylpropanolamine (PPA) in many of the OTC drugs. For a list and the info, please see Use A More Holistic Approach: OTC Med Warning

I agree! We love it in the yogurt. It is how we eat yogurt now.
I hope you get well quickly!
Many blessings and good health to you!

You have provided some wonderful information and recipes for natural remedies on your site! What a great resource. I noticed that you used the term “Homeopathic rememdies” and I wondered if you meant to use that term. Some of us who have used herbal remedies and organic methods for many years ( I have personally used and studied them for about 30 years) have become concerned about the terms “Homeopathy” and “Natural/herbal ” being interchanged. I don’t know if you have noticed this over the years as well. Many people are confused by the terms and some now consider them synonymous. As I am sure you know, Natural and herbal remedies have God given and proven inherant properties which produce an effect on the symptoms of the body, however you might not know that true “Homeopathic” medicines include items which are not necessarily medicinal, and are futhermore diluted to a level which science has shown to be incapable of afffecting the body’s sytems. I hope to hear from you about your thoughts on this rather controversial issue :0 ) I would love to see you address this in a blog. ( even if you do not gree that Herbal and Homeopathic are different) Thanks for reading this epistle! MeritK

Thanks for the info on that MeritK. I am honestly not concerned with this issue of semantics. I am a Believer in the Creator and His plans for good and for health for His people. I believe he created all things needed for us, though sin and our lack of stewardship of the earth may complicate this.
There are still plenty of natural, God-given remedies out there, and I encourage people to seek this avenue first, instead of the toxic ‘medical’ answers.
blessings and Shalom!

I eat a ton of garlic and I am confident that it does help me in not catching colds and boosting my immune system. I am not a believer in big pharma and the toxic drugs that we are being sold as remedies.
One thing I keep in my medicine cabinet is a big bottle of tea tree oil. It works as an antiseptic, anti fungal, anti bacterial treatment for just about anything. It is wonderful on acne, spider bites, cuts, you name it. Put a few drops in your shampoo if you have a flaky scalp, etc. It is my cure all for anything that ails me on a topical level. It also is great added to laundry and for cleaning to aid in killing bacteria and viruses.
