About WT

Thank you for taking the time to share in my little home on the web. I hope that you have found encouragement, a laugh or just some useful information. Though there are times when a debate may evolve on my blog, please be sure that is not the purpose of this blog.

My blog is my virtual notebook. It is sometimes my brain expressed and sometimes my heart expressed. It is a record for my children, not only of our lives, but of struggles and joys and lessons learned. I know I shouldn’t have to say it, but this blog is my opinions expressed. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me, but, it’s my home, and my opinion rules. I try hard to stay in a close relationship with God, and sometimes people didn’t like what he or his son, Jesus/Yeshua had to say either. Especially his own people.

I don’t write or not things because I am threatened with others’ opinions of me or because other Believers have other ideas, interpretations or even their social status. I am not responsible to them, but to God.

Mainly, Walking Therein is full of articles about my passions: being a wife and mother, God, large families, homeschooling, home birth, health, organics, our goats and chickens and many other things. My blog is my little place on the net to share what is important in my life with my friends and loved ones.

COMMENTS

Please do not be offended if your comment goes into moderation. First-time commenters’ comments will go into moderation automatically.  Any comments that are inappropriate, whether in content or in nature or intent, may be spammed. Why? Because this is my blog, and I set the tone. I don’t mind a dissenting opinion, but, as I said above, the main person whose opinion matters on this blog is mine. That isn’t unfair or controlling or any other absurd adjective one may come up with. The simple fact is that you are welcome into my home on the web, but don’t think it is appropriate to tell me where to put the furniture or what to serve for dinner (or what to believe and that I am ruining my children….).

Basically, this is my home, and I stock it with the books and thoughts and videos and links that are my preferences. My Site; My Right.

If you need any more info on this or if I haven’t made my commenting policy clear enough, I think Jocelyn pretty much did a great job at it. You can read her My Site, My Right Policy at her blog or you can contact me here on my site.

blessings~

    Oh Jacque!

I have never heard that song, “He Is” by Aaron Jeffery before and I just wanted to thank you for putting it on your playlist. My heart just soared and I got goosebumps as I listened to it. His Name is truly to be praised for He truly IS all that and so much more!

    In Christ,
    Michelle

It’s one of my favourites too Michelle. I used to sing it as a special when I sang in churches. It really transformed me as I learned so many different ways to see the Father, Adonai, and Messiah and Holy Spirit in each book of the Word. He is there, in each book.

Something I recently found out about Malachi, where it says “rise with healing in their wings” means something I never knew. The corners of the prayer shawl are sometimes referred to as ‘wings’. So, when the woman with an issue of blood, who knew the Scriptures – knew Malachi, touched the corner tassles – the tzitzit – of the Messiah’s garment – she KNEW she would be healed. There was HEALING IN HIS WINGS!!!
How awesome is it to know that?
So MUCH rich information we don’t have… I am so glad to have it revealed to us! The end is surely coming! He is pouring out his Spirit on His faithful People!

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22

Jacque Mrs. Jacque Dixon and her husband, Matt are busy preparing and training their nine children up in YHVH's narrow way. We are currently living and home schooling in Costa Rica, sharing our love of Torah online. Walking Therein is where Jacque writes encouraging articles of faith, home schooling and the daily adventures of the Dixon family, with a mix of news and reviews also thrown in from time to time.
