Tropical Traditions Coconut Cream Concentrate Review and Giveaway
Posted By Jacque on February 23, 2010

The Recipes:
Rachel is the main baker-cook in our home, and she has used the CCC in many things. Because I love it in my coffee, she has made us a special treat: the Tropical Traditions Coffee Heaven recipe. I love it in the Coconut Cream Hot Chocolate, too. I also like it on my grits, mixed with some butter. Like their Virgin Coconut Oil, it adds just a slight bit of flavour of coconut, and the Coconut Cream makes it smooth and creamy.
I LOVE these and Rachel can’t make them too often, because I will eat them all! Quick Lemon Coconut Candy.
I would love to try a few of their other recipes, like the Easy No-Bake Coconut Cream Cheesecake Recipe, and we have some of their Greens, so the Green Coconut Smoothie Recipe looks good too! If you don’t have any, don’t worry, the Coconut Cream Green Smoothie Recipe looks great too.
Honestly, when it is hardened in the jar, I will just get out a spoon and eat it right out of the jar, but that’s just me. It’s like a treat, creamy and sweet – and coconutty.
The Particulars:
Coconut Cream Concentrate is 100% pure coconut, with nothing else added! That also means it is gluten-free!
You might wonder: “Does one get the same benefits with Coconut Cream Concentrate™ as Coconut Oil?”
From the site: “Coconut Cream Concentrate is certified organic whole coconut meat in concentrated form. It contains no additives (not even water). The dried coconut meat is ground into a very fine powder, giving it a creamy consistency due to its high fat content. Since it is 70% fat, it is a rich source of pure coconut oil. Note: this is a food, not a cooking oil.”
If you like coconut milk, you can mix 1 or 2 teaspoons of Coconut Cream Concentrate with water or juice to make a creamy coconut milk drink.
We love to use it in our cooking and baking. “It is also an excellent ingredient for cooking and baking. Because of its low moisture content, it can be mixed right in the batter or dough of breads and pastries. It can also enhance soups, be blended with smoothies, or made into ice cream. Many people just eat it straight, or spread it on breads and crackers, because it is so delicious! For some great recipes, get the Virgin Coconut Oil book.”
OOhhhhh! Doesn’t ice cream sound good too!
The Giveaway: GIVEAWAY IS OVER. CONGRATS TO THE WINNER!!
Tropical Traditions has generously given me the opportunity to give away a 32oz. jar of CCC to one of my readers! You can enter by doing the following…
But – DO THIS FIRST:
1st Entry– One thing you MUST do as your first comment is this: Visit Tropical Traditions and tell me which product you would like to try. (1 entry)
OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL ENTRIES:
Now, you do not have to do all of these, but I love Tropical Traditions products, so I want to give you plenty of ways to check them out. I also want to give you several chances to win! If you want to know what I blog about before you sign up for my updates, I will give you an idea: I am a wife of 21 years, home school mom of 9, and Scripture-follower. I love to blog about health, giveaways, my family and children, My God – YHVH, our learning, and my thoughts. If this interests you, please sign up. If not, don’t feel pressured to.
All I ask is that you please LEAVE SEPARATE COMMENTS PER ENTRY. So, the ones that say 2 entry=two comments. THIS MEANS: you leave one comment, then leave another: Example: “I am a FB Fan #1″ for the first entry/comment, then “I am a FB Fan #2″ for the second entry/comment. (See the comment section below if I am not explaining it well!) You have to do this so that when I use a number generator, I can use your comment number as an entry. If you do not, but you put them all in one comment, it will be counted as one entry, no matter how many other things you did.
Be sure to leave your mandatory “I would like to try…..” entry first, then don’t forget to leave 2 comments per additional entry (or 10 if you make a purchase)!

Haha, so glad you’re enjoying the CCC! I absolutely adore the lemon candy, but it’s way too dangerous to always have around. And you MUST try the cheesecake and Coconut Ice Cream out (both recipes, but the one with sweetened condensed milk is our fave:). Yum. Now I’m hungry. Drat.

This is basically comment #1 for subbing to their newsletter.
You need to comment the following:
Sub #2,
Twitter#1
Twitter #2
FB 1
FB 2
and, then tweet and leave that link…
and, do you get my blog updates to your email? That’s two more
Every tweet is another… must be spread out…
