I love it, the pic and the verse….I so would enjoy chickens….but the little one is darling all safe and snug, How we should be – wrap’d up in Yah!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a chicken actually gather her chicks under her wings! VERY CUTE! I love the verse too — God’s Word is ALWAYS wonderful.

I have to write up about this chicken. She was an amazing Mama Hen. I mean, amazing. And even more amazing, since she had no mother hen to take after and be taught how to mother her chicks.
I LOVED watching her. Michelle, you are going to LOVE having chickens. I love to see chickens pecking in the yard. There is something relaxing about sitting on the porch swing with your Littles, looking out to the yard and seeing them just pecking away at the grass. Cool breeze…. Our chickens even came out in the bitter cold and snow.
Anyway…. she was a GREAT Mama Chicken, and I hope I can write up about her and post some more photos. I stood out in the cold – ok, I crouched! – to get the photos! I have several.

That is a beautiful photo, beautiful chicken and her hen! That verse always makes me sad because our LORD sounds so sorrowful! ‘Tis a good reminder!
