Monday, Feb 1st:
A CHILD’S BOOK OF THE TEETH (PDF ebook)

A classic little book that teaches kids all about teeth: what they are, why we need them, how teeth do their work, animals & their teeth, baby teeth, molars, permanent teeth, wisdom teeth, the right way to brush, cavities, etc., etc. Very enjoyable text, and well illustrated with great line drawings.

Tuesday, Feb 2nd:
The Mysterious Pirate Pit (MP3 audio)

Almost 200 years ago, three boys found an odd tree and a shallow round pit on deserted Oak Island in Nova Scotia and realized that they may have actually stumbled across buried pirate treasure. But when they started to dig… they were amazed and mystified at what they found. This is an amazing story about one of the most mysterious and fascinating puzzles ever devised. Kids LOVE this story!

Wednesday, Feb 3rd:
MOTHER GOOSE FINGER PLAYS (PDF ebook)

A neat vintage collection of Mother Goose rhymes, with accompanying finger activities and games, compiled by Irene Margaret Cullison. Lots of fun and a great learning activity for littlest “students”.

Thursday, Feb 4th:

THE CHILDREN’S OBJECT BOOK (PDF ebook)

A beautiful, full color picture book from the late 1800s, depicting household and outdoor objects, scenes from city and farms, animals, tools, etc. Truly delightful to look at and see how many items your young ones can identify. Also great for printing and cutting out dollhouse objects.

Friday, Feb 5th:
Creatively Simple: How to Make Homemade Chicken and Dumplins (PDF ebook)

Penny Raine & her daughters love to cook and they have a way of taking a classic recipe and making it better. In the case of chicken and Dumplins it is MUCH better. They add their own touches like adding in vegetables and it becomes a healthy nutritious meal that still has that great Southern flavor. Join them in the kitchen as they share with you how to make the most incredible Chicken and Dumplins you ever had.

O.K.! Let’s talk! I’ll have hot cocoa, and you have coffee! I’ll be happy to make some! He made me to say the verses, He loves me and I know it. He put them in my heart, for me to understand them.

Let’s talk tonight when the little’s are in bed! Snuggle up with me Mom!

    Love,

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22
