Great link Jacque! Penny has some great tips! Here is another one: I use older blankets (it’s even better if they have a design/color I like, but it’s not a must), to cover the windows in the winter. During the day they get pulled back to let the sun in, which warms the room, but as soon as the sun is gone, they get pulled down so that it helps hold the heat in the room. My own version of what is called a “window quilt”. One twin blanket that I paid $5 for, cut in half, covers both the windows in my boy’s bedroom. Checking Salvation Army, Goodwill, and thrift stores is a great way to find blankets and comforters for this use.
Be blessed~!
