Do You Love Me?

Posted By Jacque on November 4, 2009

I was going to post this on Training Daughters Teaching Wives, but it was so cute, I had to just post it here today!

We love Fiddler on the Roof, and you will find us singing songs to prove it at about anytime of the day… or sometimes all day, depending on the child.

Today, as Rachel sang the first line,”Do you love me?” to LucyLillie, we had to burst out laughing at LucyLillie’s repeated reply in song:

“Do I wub you?”

Lillie

She is the apple of our eyes, and will only be my baby for a little while longer in reality, but always my baby girl in my heart!

Had to share that bit of cuteness with you.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

If you have never heard the song, here is a video of it.

blessings~

  1. Hi Jacque!

Thanks for sharing the cuteness! And thank you for sharing the clip from Fiddler on the Roof. It made me cry and get all mushy. My 21st anniversary is tomorrow. I think I’ll go borrow Fiddler on the Roof from the library and make Gary watch it with me!

    Love,

  2. Doesn’t it make you sad when the baby gets “replaced” by the newest baby?

The Lord takes care of it all, but it tugs at my heartstrings. I’m feeling a bit emotional right now. I wonder what’s going on.

Awww!! How cute! I was singing that song the other day and my little sister Hannah (she’s eight) starting singing the echo too. :)

LucyLillie is so cute! I just want to pull her out of the photograph and give her a hug and kiss! :D

    Thanks for posting!

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22
