Saturday Psalm & Praise: He is Your Praise, and He is Your God

Posted By Jacque on August 15, 2009

Deuteronomy (D’varim) 10:12-22
12 “So now, Isra’el, all that ADONAI your God asks from you is to fear ADONAI your God, follow all his ways, love him and serve ADONAI your God with all your heart and all your being; 13 to obey, for your own good, the mitzvot and regulations of ADONAI which I am giving you today. 14 See, the sky, the heaven beyond the sky, the earth and everything on it all belong to ADONAI your God. 15 Only ADONAI took enough pleasure in your ancestors to love them and choose their descendants after them -yourselves -above all peoples, as he still does today.

16 Therefore, circumcise the foreskin of your heart; and don’t be stiffnecked any longer! 17 For ADONAI your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty and awesome God, who has no favorites and accepts no bribes. 18 He secures justice for the orphan and the widow; he loves the foreigner, giving him food and clothing. 19 Therefore you are to love the foreigner, since you were foreigners in the land of Egypt. 20 You are to fear ADONAI your God, serve him, cling to him and swear by his name. Saturday Psalm & Praise

21 He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things, which you have seen with your own eyes. 22 Your ancestors went down into Egypt with only seventy people, but now ADONAI your God has made your numbers as many as the stars in the sky!

Shalom Shabat!
I pray you have a restful Shabat and time to learn the Word and grow in relationship with the Father and Messiah as a family!

Hi, I don’t know who submitted my e-mail but I can tell that I am going to enjoy your knowledge of the Lord. My time to teach my children is long past as my oldest is 45 and then 43 ,and my sons are 40 and 38. If things were then as they are with your family my children would not be in the world, but all I had was preachers who didn’t know much more than I did. Yes I believe in the friday night to Saturday night Sabbath but I treasure it in my heart. God bless you all.ps I am 63 and have no health insurance,I guess I have faith in Jesus.{I am not greek so I pronounce it old english]
    Thank you and God Bless

:) Thank you for your comment Marilyn. My daughter set up a new email notification thingy and entered in any previous commenters addresses, so that is the only way I know it got on there.. but I’m glad it did!
Thank you for your sweet comment. I think we are all going to have to hold onto our faith right about now… more than ever!
May your children be blessed to find the truth in Yeshua-Jesus and turn to live for him completely!

    Blessings~

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22
