Staying Healthy and Taking Supplements to Combat Fatigue in my 1st Trimester
Posted By Jacque on August 25, 2006
I was talking online to a Friend of mine last night, and she asked me how I am feeling and such.
Seeing as I am barely in my 8th week, I am in my usual 1st trimester tired state. It is partly due to my sleep habits, which need to change and part of it due to my age, I suppose. And, I guess, tandem nursing a 1 year old and a 3 year-old (barely) probably has something to do with it, too!
So, I am trying to cut back on caffeine – in the form of Dr. Pepper – and take my supplements daily. I was asked this question a few months back, and never finished the post I started, so I am going to list what I am doing at this time to keep myself – and babes – healthy:
2. Supplements I take daily are:
Vitamin C
B-Complex
Vitamin E
Iron with C
Calcium
3. Sleep whenever I need it.
4. I learned how to read my body several years back, so I now “know” when I need something.
5. I will be getting some Red Raspberry to take.
6. Drink a lot of water.
7. Get some type of exercise regularly
8. I don’t know why I always think of this last, but I am reading the Bible and growing closer to God, because this is the best thing to be done for everyone’s well-being!
9. Delegate, delegate, delegate. Older, well-trained, God-fearing children are such a blessing to your home school. I truly appreciate my children.
I will try to get the information posted of the benefits of some of the vitamins and herbs, etc. I mentioned… like the Chlorophyll and Red Raspberry. They help in overall women’s health, as well as pregnancy and birth.
Please pray with us as we are searching for a midwife. The last 2 home births we had were wonderful, but my midwife moved to Tennessee…. Indiana is cracking down on midwives and even prosecuting, so I am praying the Lord will lead us safely to His choice for our family.
