Torah Portion: Tzav

Posted By Jacque on March 29, 2009

We have been reading the weekly Torah portion.

Here is this week’s – April 4th:

Tzav צו

“Command”

Torah reading:
Leviticus 6:1-8:36

Prophets reading:
Jeremiah 7:21-8:3, 9:22-23

Gospel reading:
Luke 4-6

Date:
4 Apr 2009 10 Nisan 5769

You can read about the Torah Portion and how Yeshua himself studied it and used it in his own life at http://TorahPortions.org. You will also find a pdf of the Torah Portions, or, if you would like, you can request as many Torah Portions cards as you would like.

A very interesting book that we have been reading and discussing is Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus – How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith by Ann Spangler and Lois Tverberg. Jocelyn was given it to review, and we have learned so much and been enjoying it so.

It is good to home school and study such things during the day, walking and talking with them…

Passover is coming soon also.

PASSOVER ~PESACH : 9 April–15 April 2009

8th day of Pesach: 16 April

blessings~

I also have found quite a few good resources online. I should put those into a post! :)

I am not sure if you have got my last comment here (I did it some days ago).

Thanks for posting! It’s always a blessing to meet such a blessed family like yours, and to know that you have been seeking for the ancient paths to walk therein! WoW!

I love Hebrew and I’ve ordered some Torah Portions at their website! It’s going to be a blessing!

May Yeshua be living in your family daily!

    His,
    Leandro

PS.: I’d like to share with you some resources I have found, but I couldn’t contact you through Contact Form system.

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.'

Welcome

Hello friends and welcome! The coffee is fresh, the tea is hot, so pull up a comfy chair and sit with me for a bit.

Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him.

Jacque Mrs. Jacque Dixon and her husband, Matt, train their nine children up in YHVH's narrow way, home schooling on their small homestead in Indiana. She is co-owner and Manager of Gleaning the Harvest, a mission founded by the Dixons, presenting widowed/single mother home school families to YHVH's people. She is also owner and publisher of Training Sons to Be Men, and Training Daughters, Teaching Wives. Walking Therein is where Jacque writes encouraging home school articles, articles of faith, and the daily lives of the Dixon family.
