Who Is Teaching Your Children?
Posted By Jacque on March 26, 2009
Does this look like someone who is expressing this because
he loves America’s school children?
Or does it look like a THREAT?
Maybe a bit of rubbing parents’ noses in it, because:
“You can’t do anything about it!“?
Proverbs 22: 6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
This man is a product of the training he received as he grew up and his parents beliefs or lack thereof.
And they want to revoke home school rights from parents through the UNCRC.
I have even read online of other individuals/websites calling for parents of home schooled children to be jailed for emotional abuse. *sigh*
I am proud that in America I can teach my theology to my own children for at least a little time yet.
Deuteronomy 6:1-7
1Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: 2That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son’s son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. 3Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
My answer to the question,
“Who is teaching your children?” is simple:
I AM!
As the responsible parents who are not relying on the government to supply all of our needs, that includes government schools, lunch programs, after-school programs, teacher pensions, etc. We are teaching our children to be productive citizens in the United States of America without all of the interference of social climbing, drugs, greediness, gangs, and children who don’t want to learn.
What is your answer?

My answer is “I am and Thank God!” I admit I have battled the choice to continue homeschooling once the triplets reach school age but the Lord in his grace and mercy showed me that all the reasons I have for sending my kids to school would be selfish reasons. On the flip side, all the reasons I have to homeschool them are Godly, Biblical and honorable reasons. This made my heart rejoice in saying “Yes, I homeschool my children!”
Thank you for sharing this with us, it was very shocking to see him in that picture. He was bragging and rubbing it in parent’s faces.

Amen! When I saw that picture, it was a direct mock to me from this homosexual man. I am teaching my children and it has been good for them! I pray God will allow us to continue this for as long as possible!

Praise God, I am. And, hopefully I will have the right to do so for many, many more years. Unfortunately, I’m not so sure about that right now. The about picture displays pure arrogance. Uggghhhh! Thanks for sharing.

I am! I am so thankful too. Even my daughters thank me for homeschooling them.
I am sorry I haven’t been around to comment this week. We had a nice family vacation.

It just seems to me that THIS should be a major reason that parents need to remove their children from the public schools and take the responsibility over what their children are taught and NOT leave it to someone like the guy in this picture.

This kind of publicity/statements to be honest makes my skin crawl – I am for home-schooling full stop. Here in England, schools are going downhill rapidly. I think it was on the television recently where there was a report to do with schooling and there was a statement along the lines of it is that education is the responsibility of the schools and not the parents – well hello, but no way.
I could say a lot more but this would take up way too much room.

amen jacque! you can clearly see this man doesn’t care about our children- only cramming his “freedom” down our throats. we need to make sure OUR freedoms aren’t taken away by obama.
