Indiana Weather
Posted By Jacque on July 8, 2008
I was upstairs shooting some photos this afternoon, when I pointed the camera out the window, and saw dark, swirling clouds. I went downstairs to make sure that the things on the list to be put away had been taken care of, because I knew we were in for a storm.
Wow! The sky was beautiful (in a dark sort of way),
and I went out to the middle of the yard to shoot it as the kids all picked up the yard a bit.
And it started pouring. Immediately. I was drenched from head to toe before I hit the porch, which was only about 50ft. away. And, then, all of a sudden the wind kicked up and started blowing things away, like the trash can and laundry we forgot on the line…
When Matt called, he said it was reported that the wind was at 60mph. Boy could I believe it. It was scary. It was 0-60 in a second. I had everyone go in and check the TV and weather.com, because it was eerily like a tornado starting to me.
So, there is part of our excitement for the day. Read about other Dixon News and No News for the day.

Wow awesome photos mom! Especially the first one. Coolies… it was hilarious seeing you all run in as the rain and winds are ready to sweep you off you feet. LOL
