    It all is sick.
We were created for THIS time. It is stuff like this that should put us on our knees.
‘Tis a fallen world. Christ has already put the prayers on our lips to pray, we just have to do it, and without ceasing.

ok I just had to come back. First to say that Moni rushed into my room adamantly asking “Did you see Mrs. Jacque’s blog today? Go now!” I am glad that she is reading your blog. Especially with the mature grammar, reading is not her strongest area, yet magazine type sized articles are better for her than novels. Glad she getting a good dose of vocabulary, and spiritual truths.

Secondly, we are for such a time as this. We must stand and be separated Christians. See what Mr. Pearl wrote recently: http://tinyurl.com/chmhbl

Jacque, I can’t tell you how strong it is in my heart that my family will be moving, it gets stronger by the day. Please pray for us!

I feel that people are so awed by (some) because he’s giving them hope of money. Hope of getting out of debt. People are looking at those dollar signs and ignoring all other things, ie: funding abortions in forgeign countries, approval of gay rights..etc. But they don’t care…all they see are those dollar signs.

I saw on FoxNews last night ans economic analyst said it the stimulus package will cost EACH family $100,000 over the next several years to pay off. So what he’s doing is giving us a LOAN and WE have to pay it back and we DON’T even want it. He is forcing us to take this ‘loan’ and pay it back with interest when we didn’t ask for it. Gee what’s the word for that?

I agree Beth. I remember when there was an independent group interviewing voters to see if they knew the policies or even the people. and one lady said she thought that re-distributing the wealth was a good idea. She didn’t know why, and she couldn’t tell anything about it, but she thought it was fair.
Yeah…. free money that someone else has worked for just GIVEN to her. Not FAIR, but I am sure it is welcome.
I think MONEY is a BIG FACTOR.

Too bad what Lisa said is so true. The people who REALLY want it are likely those who won’t have to pay it back anyway, and the ones who will be footing the bill know it for what it is and do not want it.
Sad, but here we go again: a feel-good, gimme what I can get Prez. What ever happened to the words of John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.”?
Be on your knees, looking up.

Oh, my gosh! My stomach just turned inside out and I feel like I’m going to throw up. I knew it was bad, but I had no idea… Definitely ‘war on the floor’ time. Thanks ever so for posting this. I’m going to share it with everyone I know.

    Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

I keep thinking about WW2 and how scrap metal was collected and the American people pulled together for the better good of the entire land. In this present world there is so much selfish behavior that no one wants to pay for anything, much less sacrifice in order to get by.

It would be interesting to see a national poll where they asked how many people have sacrificed something of their own in order to help someone who is struggling right now. I don’t want to toot my own horn, but my family is currently helping a few different people each month. We decided to cut back in order to do so.

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22
