Rejoice Always!
Posted By Jacque on January 24, 2009
Thank you to Quietmom who reminded me that we must rejoice in the LORD always. I have not had much time to blog our loves here or participate in memes or much of anything. I don’t mind so much, since we are getting Gleaning the Harvest going as well as Training Daughters Teaching Wives, Training Sons To Be Men,
and State Exploration for the children to help us with and for their home schooling. Add Growing in Grace, HSBA, and TOS reviews to home keeping, sniffles and colds and everyday barn chores and things are making a monumental shift again in our lives. The LORD reigns. As long as I keep that at the helm of this great ship of life, and the rough seas are nothing.
Philippians 4: 4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
Children are ill.

We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
God is our healer and gives us strength to help wipe runny noses and hold cranky babies.

Not enough time to do all I have on my plate.
Psalm 28:7
The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
I am thankful the LORD gives wisdom to know what to do and what to give up.
Psalm 30:1
I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
We have a smelly, lame, loud goat in our office in a refrigerator box.

God is sufficient and gives strength for the task at hand.

Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
It has been six years since we started the 1200sqft addition that is still not completed. It is COLD.

You were on my mind when I woke up today and I wanted to come back and comment about this: “Friends have become enemies and lie about me behind my back. ” They obviously weren’t really your friends. A real friend is honest and works on the relationship. What they’ve done (whoever they are) is chosen NOT to work on the relationship and gossip. That is not a friend. They should read Gary Chapman’s book ‘Love as a Way of Life’ that book has transformed how I view relationships now.

You are absolutely right Lisa. Those kinds of friends were never friends to begin with.

Hello there!
I just wanted to let you know that I left a comment on your daughter’s blog (Resting in the arms of Grace). I found her blog through my future mother-in-love, Robin, (hasanyoneseenmypurse). Her blog is quite encouraging, and I just wanted to let you know that I think she is a lovely girl and it is evident that Christ has His hand on her. Blessings to you and your family as you strive after His will in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Love in Christ,
Nicole
