Update: Continue Prayers for 12yo Rachael Kligmann
Posted By Jacque on June 24, 2008
From her site:
A few minutes ago I went into Rachael’s room and for the first time in two days did not get more bad news. It is not time for a party (yet) but her ICP number is 6, her bood presure is 120/75, her blood ox is 94, her heart rate is 80 and the oxygen level they are giving her is 60% down from a high of 90%. I am not sure how much pressure they are having to use on her ventilator. (her lungs were somewhat collapsed this morning)
These are all good things.
Her brain waves are still flat which is still what they want, but oh, so so so hard to see.
I am very, very,(VERY) cautiously hopeful that her brain swelling has stopped increasing and that she might start decreasing soon.
Jacob and David came to see me and I am so happy to see them. It is medicine to a mommys heart.
“Lord I do believe, help me in my unbelief.”
Also a note on her CaringBridge page:
Thank you for your prayers, we continue to need them. The family needs assistance in paying their mortgage, food, & other need as Rachael’s condition will be very long term. We’ve set up an account with Washington Mutual. If you are able to donate, please contact Nicholas at 801-688-3702. We also could use food and daily need donations for the other 8 children.
Read her story HERE.
Family, I am praying for you.
blessings!

Dear Jaque,
Well your absolutely right!!! I believe we are in the last days…people in church have lost their morals. The Bible speaks of having a form of godliness and denying the power therof. I won’t judge your friend, but yes sin does have its consequences, if you sow to the flesh you will reap to the flesh.
When you know to do the right thing and sin anyway it’s SIN and we are basically slapping the Lord in the face!!! We are all guilty of it, all of us. As my hubby says sometimes, christians are the only ones who kill their wounded. We can be so mean, and vicious and ugky sometimes to each other.
In the times we’re living in we need to be in prayer, for ourselves and others. We are living in dangerous times when it comes to christianity, homechooling, read the news. Im sorry Im not trying to get on my soapbox, Im just as guilty as everyone else. We have to have a repentant heart and God will help us.
I am praying for the little girl and for Josephine, we all need to pray for each other and love each other. I am so encouraged by your blog, Jaque. We will all lift your friend up and believe God for his will and for that precious baby she is carrying. (((hugs)))

Thank you for your encouragement and your prayers Robyn. I am glad the post was an encouragement. I was not sure if I could post it and not come across as arrogant. (Who Do We Christians Think We Are?)
I don’t know why God has put me in a position that people tell me such things, but I have seen so much. I am aching for all of the friends I have in blog world right now who have ‘behind-the-scenes’ sins. I want to stand up and just shout it all over, but that is not for me to do, so I blog as God touches me in my Spirit.
I am also aching for the friends who are being wounded by these other sinning Christians.
God help us all.
