Please Pray

Posted By Jacque on June 23, 2008

There is a little 12 year-old girl who needs our prayers.

Please pray for Rachael Kligmann. Rachael was riding her bike and was hit by a car. She is not doing well. Please pray for her and her family. She is one of twelve children.

This is the entry for today:

Rachael is worsening. It is hard to tell how much, but it has been a progression all day. Her brain pressure numbers have stayed high despite the deep coma. They deepened the coma and increased her Co2 (a bad thing to have to do) and her ICP numbers are somewhat better.

Basically her swelling does not seem to have peaked yet. They have not mentioned removing a piece of her skull bone yet which confuses me. I thought that was the next step but I guess not. I would have thought that it would be less dangerous than raising the Co2 but I really dont’ know.

Both Pete and I are having a hard time holding on to hope. I am on my face begging God to bring her back to us.

Read her story HERE.

Dear God, I pray you will have mercy on this family and heal their little girl. I pray for strength and hope and whatever they need to just sit at your feet through this. I can only imagine the grief they are experiencing, and I hope I never have to know it. I do not believe this is your will for this little girl’s life. I believe it is the fault of a fallen world and the death and sickness it holds even for your people. I am just sick about this Lord, and I pray you will hold this family tight in your arms. In Jesus’ Name.

Family, I am praying for you.

blessings!

My friend Misty emailed me this morning. She lives 20miles from me. Her church prayed for Rachael yesterday, because her Pastor has children who live in Utah and are friends with this family. God sees and hears and the family of God is so far-reaching.
I am praying for a miracle.
    God help her.

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.'

Welcome

Hello friends and welcome! The coffee is fresh, the tea is hot, so pull up a comfy chair and sit with me for a bit.

Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him.

Jacque Mrs. Jacque Dixon and her husband, Matt, train their nine children up in YHVH's narrow way, home schooling on their small homestead in Indiana. She is co-owner and Manager of Gleaning the Harvest, a mission founded by the Dixons, presenting widowed/single mother home school families to YHVH's people. She is also owner and publisher of Training Sons to Be Men, and Training Daughters, Teaching Wives. Walking Therein is where Jacque writes encouraging home school articles, articles of faith, and the daily lives of the Dixon family.
