Rachel is giving away One Night With The King – the movie. This is a version of the story of the Biblical Esther, the girl who saved the lives of her people when they faced annihilation at the hand of husband, King Xerxes.

She has three four ways to enter to get extra chances, so go on over and enter as many times as you can!

A Giveaway At A City On A Hill!

Keep an eye on her blog, because she will be giving away some other gifts in the next couple of weeks!

**Be sure to vote for Rachel for Best Teen Gal Blog in the HSBAwards!

PLEASE ALSO VOTE for Eric for Best Teen Guy Blog at On the Road To Manhood, Hannah for Best Blog Design for her pretty blog, Resting in the Arms of Grace, and Growing in Grace Magazine and Feelin’ Feminine in their categories(linked) at The Homeschool Blog Awards.

That was a good movie! It’s not often when I see a movie that the guy is prettier than the woman (lol, just kidding!)

  2. Hi Jacque! Was so nice to see your comment on my blog. I have been trying to get over here for a couple of days, between interruptions. We have been breaking from school, such as it is, for a few weeks, and today was our first day back at the grind. :o ) I don’t know how you keep your mental faculties, with your larger-than-mine family, except by God’s grace. Good thing he has given you more than me — grace, that is, lol.

I have been thinking about having you take me off the TDTW blogroll for some time. I would love to visit everyone, but I just don’t have time, and I have not been contributing in the spirit of the group. Guess I’ll leave that up to you — just want you to know I won’t be hurt if you do.

Hope you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving holiday this year, full of love and family and remembrance of the blessings of the Lord.
    Sally

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22
