Send Me Your Submissions

Posted By Jacque on November 7, 2008

Carnival of Homeschooling I am hosting the next Carnival of Homeschooling, so send me your submissions. I have thought about doing a theme, but I just don’t have one for now. Who knows, something may strike me, and I’ll throw it together in a theme yet…

This is the information I would like to have from you:
Title of Post
URL of Post
Name of Blog
URL of Blog
Brief summary of the post (if you don’t give me one, I get to describe your post… muhahahhaaa) :p

A simple way to send me your submission is by going here and entering your info. It will automatically go to my inbox from there.

If you have never seen or participated in the COH, you can go to Why Homeschool and find out about it: Introduction to the Carnival of Homeschooling.

I would like to have your submission in by 10pmEST on Monday night. You will need to email it to me directly after 9pm EST though. If you use the BlogCarnival page, it will be forwarded to the next host.

Alright…. you are going to blog anyway, send one in!

Ready, set, GO!

blessings~

  4. Title: Making the “Leap” to Homeschooling

Blog Name: Billy Joe Jim Bob
    Blog URL: http://billyjoejimbob.blogspot.com
Summary: Someone considering homeschooling for the first time asks about making the leap. On the one hand, it’s easier than you think; on the other, homeschooling changes EVERYTHING.

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22

Jacque Mrs. Jacque Dixon and her husband, Matt are busy preparing and training their nine children up in YHVH's narrow way. We are currently living and home schooling in Costa Rica, sharing our love of Torah online.
