Saturday Psalm & Praise: They That Wait Upon the Lord
Posted By Jacque on May 24, 2008
I have been outside all day. I have been working in the barnyard, fixing the fence. The previous three days, I mowed and used the weed-eater. Today, I gathered the dried grass to feed to the goats. I am ti-red!
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
However, I killed two birds with one stone and pleased my husband twice! He loves a nice lawn, and he hates spending money on hay! If pleasing your husband isn’t praising the LORD, then I don’t know what is. Submitting to his plans and working with him for the betterment of our household, our finances, and our family is God’s plan. It is a small thing for me to do to please the Lord and my hard-working husband. I must say that my hands hurt for awhile, but I feel refreshed and pleasant, and Matt is happy, since he joined me for the last hour I was working, and he helped me with the fence posts.
Psalm 133:1
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Have a blessed Sunday in the Lord!!
blessings!
