Proud Momma

Posted By Jacque on November 2, 2008

I cannot extol the banner of Growing in Grace Magazine more to those of you who know it is a very big part of our lives and learning here in our home than I already have in times past.

I can, however, tell you how proud I am of my daughters. This month, in the November 2008 issue, Rachel is the featured Girl of Grace, and Amanda was in October’s issue. Lady Olivia interviewed Lady Rachel, A Gentle Heart After God, and though I live with Rachel and eat her delicious cooking, I love to read about what she thinks and is on her heart.

The theme this month is, and there are several articles published that deal with this forgotten Fruit of the Spirit in a direct, but gentle, manner.

Each month there are new graphics uploaded to the site, and tags are available to use on your blog or website.

One graphics I use each month is the desktop that Sisterlisa makes. Each month it coincides with the GGM site, has a calendar on it for the month, and looks very pretty on my laptop!

You can put this pretty, festive desktop on your computer by clicking on it and saving the picture to your computer, then setting it as your desktop background.

blessings!

Your girls are such a blessing to me. I know they must make your heart proud with love. You are blessed because you have blessed them throughout their lives. I lost my beautiful mother in 2001, then in 2003 I lost both my Godly grandmothers. But their love and heritage goes on. Yours will do the same. It is such an honor to raise Godly children. You are blessed.

Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!
and you are to love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your understanding, and with all your strength.' 6 These words, which I am ordering you today, are to be on your heart; 7 and you are to teach them carefully to your children. You are to talk about them when you sit at home, when you are traveling on the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
{Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Mark 12:28-30}

Welcome

Welcome to my online home, Walking Therein. I am a 40-something wife and Momma, trying to walk therein, squeezing in moments of Scripture reading, praise and worship and just quiet between the breastfeeding, child training, cooking, cleaning, child training, laundry, home school, child training, online ministries, and spending individual moments with hubby, adult children, Middles, Littles, and the infant.
Tis the life the Father gave me, and I am blessed to walk in it.
Did I mention the child training?

"Who am I? Nobody special; just a flawed wife and mom, daughter, sister, and friend chosen by YHVH to follow and tell about him."

I am a Believer in the one true God and the Messiah, his Son, whose name is Yehoshua. We keep his commandments because that is what his people do.
"...God's people, those who observe his commands and exercise Yehoshua's faithfulness."
Revelation 12, 14, 22
