Outside my window… The Winter is just not going away yet. I will be posting snow, snow, snow as long as we are here.

I am thinking… about the warmer weather that will be wherever we will be going.

I am thankful for… knowing that I can’t add to his plan and I can’t take away, but that he is doing the working in our lives at this time.

From the Learning Rooms … This part is honestly hard for me. It’s either regular boring old way of learning, like math and grammar workbooks or it is too hard to define as they experience it through reading, cooking, cleaning, helping, applications in the home…
*Littles: Nothing but life. I need to make a new plan for them to have some worksheets.
*Middles: Religious studies: Life applications in Judaism and different sects of Jews. The usual life application math and science. Planning and application of plans.
*Older: Religious studies: Lifeapplications in Judaism and different sects of Jews. Planning and application of plans.

From the kitchen… We already got to eat the last of Rachel’s homemade pretzels. I am trying to find out what she has planned for dinner.

I am wearing… Sage green short sleeve top with a gardening picture on it that says “Stress Relief”, black long skirt, black short socks, and my brown shoes.

I am creating… index cards with individual To Do lists for the Littles. The older children are making their own lists that we are going to meet and discuss.

I am going… to be home. All day, all night.

I am currently reading… blog articles on the Talmud/Mishnah, the Halaka, the Amidah, etc. I started looking up the difference between the Polish and Israeli Jews, because my Great-Great-Grandfather was a Jew who came over from Poland. Matt spoke to the Israeli Embassy today in Chicago, and the gentleman he spoke with mentioned the difference, so as a good home school mom, I decided it was good for history study.  : )

I am hoping… the weather will get up to about 60′ and we will be able to have a garage sale next week and sell all of the stuff we will not be moving. Yes, I am hoping BIG.

I am hearing…. Hannah, Caleb and Isaac playing Uno with Phase 10 cards and Matt cutting drywall and screwing it onto the wall.

On my mind…. How long will it take us to leave, and will our home be sold before we go?

Noticing that… Samuel must be going through his 3 month growth spurt, because he is sleeping a lot today.

Around the house… doing last-minute things as long as we are here.

One of my favorite things… an accomplished day that ends with putting our Littles to bed and a nice hot cup of mint tea, served in a real tea cup.

Psalm 137:5
“If I forget you, Yerushalayim [Jerusalem], may my right hand wither away! “

Wow. One’s “right hand” is their life. If we forget Jerusalem, may we lose the means to make “our life”, which, so aptly pointed out to me in discussion with Jocelyn, only YHVH can restore. What an important thing it is to YHVH that we not forget Jerusalem. His Holy and set apart city. The place where Messiah returns to and reigns from.

Jerusalem is in the heart of our God-Elohim.  We must “determine ourselves to go to Jerusalem” and Yahushua did on his road to the cross. It is Yah’s heart.

Psalms 137:6
May my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if I fail to remember you, if I fail to count Yerushalayim the greatest of all my joys.

And very important words in these last days:

Psalms 147:2
ADONAI is rebuilding Yerushalayim, gathering the dispersed of Isra’el.

Outside my window… Just a cold, gray day. I can see the snow in rows in the cornfield. No breeze, thankfully.
I am thinking… about the many things in life I could change. -I need to change.
I am thankful for… forgiveness and the understanding of Scriptures.
From the Learning Rooms …
*Littles: Nothing but life. I need to make a new plan for them to have some worksheets.
*Middles: The usual. And ditto on the new plans for them too.
*Older: They are older and out of school, so they learn on their own. Amanda and Jocelyn just published Challenging Femininity. That is their extended education this week.
From the kitchen… Hannah, 10, is making some soup of leftovers. I personally love soups.
I am wearing… my brown Mom of 8 shirt and a winter-ish long skirt with – white ankle socks.
I am creating… organization. I am going to file all the extra home school papers into grade files so I can grab them easily and pack them easily.
I am going… nowhere. I am at home, where you will always find me. And I am more than happy with that.
I am currently reading… haven’t been reading much lately. I need to get back to reading King of the Jews and Restoration, both by D. Thomas Lancaster.
I am hoping… issues that have set for years will soon be healed and over with.
I am hearing…. Caleb and Isaac play nicely together.
On my mind…. Scripture and how to walk in the whole of Scriptures and set that example for our children and friends.
Noticing that… It is late, and I still have much to do.
Around the house… clothes to fold and put into the boys bags, and not enough clothing for Lucy. We need to get her some more cotton tees.
One of my favorite things… just about anything Rachel makes. Yesterday she made homemade doughnuts. Wow. Delicious! Oh, and hugs and kisses from Caleb and Lucy. They have started giving me hugs and kisses more frequently since Samuel is usually in my lap.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Praying. Matt said something about taking a whole day and devoting it to prayer for some answers, and I am going to get with him and see when he wants to do that. I feel like we really are at point critical and need it.
